Very excited to announce: a brand new video is up on YouTube! Please check out the Bon Iver cover of "Holocene" I filmed with help from Ben Rose, Jack Kovacs, and my sister, Riana. Produced and edited by my unbelievably tech-savvy and talented brother, Dalten. Don't forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel and share with your friends!
JANUARY 29
The first month of 2012 has been a great one! I'm filming regularly on GLEE (all new Michael Jackson episode Jan 31 on FOX!), and enjoying the beautiful January weather Los Angeles has to offer when I'm not recording, writing, and working on set. I gave back to my old high school January 9th with a performance and masterclass for the students, and was featured alongside my bandmates and sister, Riana, in our hometown newspaper. I was recently commissioned to pen an original song for USC's Consideration campaign, and debuted the song on campus. Also this month, Riana and I are proud to report that our Coldplay cover of "Fix You" has reached over 100,000 views on YouTube! I'll be teaming up with Riana and Dalten over the next few months to accelerate my YouTube video production. Here's the first upload of 2012, with many more to come: "Forgive Me," live in Olympia; filmed at our annual Winter Concert. We had approximately 175 people attend this year. Please subscribe on YouTube, share on Facebook, and message me. I love to hear from you, and want to stay connected through the year!
JANUARY 5
I can't believe the first week of the new year is already coming to a close. I'm incredibly optimistic for 2012 and I've already been lucky enough to be working solid this week. I rang in the new year at the black tie BB Jazz New Year's Eve Gala at the Hyatt Resort in Huntington Beach, California. I was honored to be one of the entertainers with vocalist Christine Day to help celebrate the start of 2012. This week I've been staying busy on set at GLEE, and still loving my opportunity to play guitar in the GLEE band on camera. Sunday January 8th is the Fifth Annual "Winter Concert" in Olympia, Washington. If you haven't yet RSVP'd, HURRY! You won't want to miss it. Looks like this will be the biggest turnout in all five years, with Standing Room Only! Email riananelson@gmail.com to secure your spot.
DECEMBER 29

I'm proud to announce the Fifth Annual "Winter Concert" I'm performing for my closest friends, supporters, and family in Olympia, Washington on January 8th, 2012 at 7pm. My brother (Dalten) and sister (Riana) and I will sing our arrangements of pop/jazz covers as well as plenty of original material from my recent albums. Joining from Los Angeles: Jack Kovacs, Nick Campbell, Ben Rose, and Brian "Theory" Hargrove. Seating is extremely limited: If you'd like to attend this Olympia concert, please send an email to Riana at riananelson@gmail.com to secure your seat and get directions.
DECEMBER 11
Last Sunday I was honored to sing at the Trevor Live event at the Hollywood Palladium as a backing vocalist for R&B star Mary J. Blige. I appeared again on GLEE, making my national banjo playing debut! That's right... see quick peeks of my banjo-jamming here. Friday night I was honored at the USC Thornton School of Music Charles Dickens Dinner. I am so proud to be a part of the incredible USC Trojan family!
NOVEMBER 29
Did you watch GLEE tonight? I was sporting some seriously awesome sweaters and played on several songs with the band. Keep your eyes peeled next week for an all-new episode on FOX at 8pm/PST... hopefully I'll make the screen again! :)

Happy Thanksgiving! I had a fantastic long holiday weekend in Chicago, Illinois. I'm back in Los Angeles and have a few very exciting projects and gigs coming up that I can't wait to announce, once details are solidified of course. I've been filming long days on set for GLEE this week! Lots of fun, what a great opportunity. I'm still feeling so honored to be a part of it. I've got my brand new record, "Songs About Winter," coming out this Sunday! Make sure you're signed up for the mailing list, and you'll receive an email with a download for a FREE ALBUM on Sunday! If you're in LA, come to Room 5 on La Brea Sunday night at 9pm where you can see me perform live with some of my best friends and musicians.
NOVEMBER 9
Missed last night's GLEE episode on FOX? It's okay... I won't be on until next week! Look for me in the band in the Adele song mash-up, and the Hall & Oates tribute in next week's GLEE episode, entitled "Mash Off." You never know what ends up on the cutting room floor, but atleast I'm having a great time on set. In other news, I'm in the final stages of mixing and mastering the new record... I cannot wait to share it with you all! Come back soon for official release info.
NOVEMBER 3
I've been on the GLEE set multiple long days this week. Having fun and working hard! Happy Friday! Coming up this weekend: Filming with Dalten, recording with Riana, and getting more work done on the upcoming record... stay tuned for more info... :)
OCTOBER 24
This past weekend, I was honored to perform at the annual USC Thornton Alumni Association concert. The youngest USC alum to be recognized at the concert, I performed two original songs and my song, "Take Chances," was also screened at the event as part of the program. I was commissioned to write "Take Chances" as an anthem for Commencement for the USC Class of 2011. Other USC Alum on the program included film & tv score composer Bear McCreary, pianist and composer Tigran Martikyan, pianist Greg Reitan, and singer/songwriter Celeigh Chapman. See photos from the event here.

Tonight I performed at a Relay For Life event in Los Angeles. Click here to see a clip of a performance at a past Relay For Life event.

Tonight I played for a full house at USC's Ground Zero, joined by my bandmates Ben Rose, Jack Kovacs, Brian "Theory" Hargrove, and guest bassist Nick Campbell. I've also been staying busy these days on set as the guitarist for the hit TV show GLEE on FOX.
